Her Rights, Her Power is Tatwir Foundation's initiative to strengthen women’s legal awareness, civic participation, and access to justice—transforming constitutional rights into lived realities.
Impact Statement
Strengthening women’s constitutional power through legal identity, access to justice, and protection from violence.
Despite legal protections, women in Pakistan continue to face inequality, violence, economic exclusion, and limited political voice. Low legal awareness, lack of CNICs, and weak enforcement of laws prevent millions of women from accessing inheritance, social protection, justice, and financial systems. Gender-based violence remains widespread, yet most survivors never seek help. Legal empowerment is essential for achieving real gender equality.
To empower women and girls to understand, claim, and exercise their constitutional and legal rights—enabling safe, equal, and dignified participation in society.
Legal Literacy & Rights Awareness
We conduct community workshops, mobile legal clinics, and media campaigns on inheritance, marriage, labour rights, and protection from violence.
Legal Identity & Access to Justice
We support CNIC registration drives and link women to legal aid, protection services, and survivor-centered referral systems.
Civic & Political Empowerment
We promote women’s participation in voting, governance, and leadership through awareness sessions and youth rights clubs.
Capacity Building & Advocacy
We train duty-bearers on gender sensitivity, strengthen enforcement of pro-women laws, and support policy advocacy and digital empowerment.
Through Her Rights, Her Power, we aim to:
