Background

Why It Matters

Pakistan is among the world’s most climate-vulnerable countries, facing floods, droughts, glacial melt, air pollution, and environmental degradation—despite contributing minimally to global emissions. Climate impacts disproportionately affect women, youth, rural populations, and marginalized communities, who often lack access to information, resources, and decision-making spaces. Low climate literacy and weak policy implementation further deepen these risks. Climate action must be inclusive, community-driven, and grounded in justice.

Our Goal

To promote climate justice and resilience by empowering communities—especially youth and women—with knowledge, advocacy skills, and platforms to influence climate policy and action.

Who We Serve

  • Youth and students (15–30 years), especially in climate-vulnerable regions
  • Women, smallholder farmers, fisherfolk, and daily wage earners
  • Climate-affected rural and urban communities

What We Do

Climate Education & Awareness
We promote climate literacy through schools, community campaigns, public dialogues, and locally relevant learning materials.

Youth Leadership & Advocacy
We establish youth climate clubs and advocacy forums, build leadership skills, and support youth-led environmental initiatives.

Community Climate Resilience
We support nature-based solutions such as tree plantation, rainwater harvesting, climate-smart agriculture, and disaster preparedness.

Policy Engagement & Climate Justice
We facilitate dialogue between communities and policymakers, advocate for inclusive climate financing, and strengthen community voices in climate governance.

Digital Storytelling for Climate Action
We amplify local climate stories through media, digital campaigns, and youth-led content creation.

Our Impact

Through ACT, we aim to:

  • Increase climate awareness and civic engagement
  • Strengthen youth-led climate advocacy
  • Improve community resilience to climate shocks
  • Amplify marginalized voices in climate decision-making
  • Bridge local climate realities with national climate action
